May be I am not a web maestro like SEO consultant Mr. Gary Pool but at least I can make an effort to make it more simpler to understand.
It may seem little exaggerated now but believe me when the time will come where most of the sales generated by the company will be contributed through Online /Internet marketing which aims to Increasing relevant user base and finally helps in improving business conversion through your website.

According to McKinsey reports says that an average U.S. user in 2010 carried out about 1,500 searches. Near to 90 percent of online users depends on search engines Globally, approximately 1.6 trillion searches are performed every year. Nearly 25 percent of traffic going to mainstream content providers on the web which is used by search engines.

Opting for SEO is much more cheaper than hiring Business Development executive or sales person.

Normally cost incurred on sales executive and sales processes are very expensive and time consuming.
If we look at the normal process of any start up firm where it starts with level 1 of Bulk Email Marketing or cold calling etc...

further its moves to level 2 of shortlisting of prospective clients and their follow up finding their interest in product...Out of that very few deals get clinched.

Before creating website we should know how the Search Engine crawler works. They are text driven with containing artificial intelligence to make Human like decisions but still not up to the mark of human brain they are still Panda's not human.

Meta Description

Part of the website in below code you can see the symbol starts with"<meta". Put keyword intelligently and making sense to your business capable of converting traffic into sales.
Below you can see the piece of code if your not a software professional it may be little difficult for you to understand.But you can consult with a developer on similar lines..
This is something which is mandatory for Search Engine Optimization

Above image can be referred for title tag to see how it looks. While implementing SEO please see to it that it should be filled up business relevant keywords.Any nonsense could lead to loosing priority.

SEO's Rule No.5 :


Website's Anchor Text



Make Partial Match rather than exact match for example if there is one phrase which is very famous
say "Herbal Hair Color" don't try to directly put in the tag google engine will catch instead separate the words..Specially don't repeat it many times...with same phrase....cut it n different part "Herbal"+" Hair "+"Color" use it with other words or make new different phrase containing these words...


SEO's Rule No.6 :


Website Content


It should be relevant keywords which crawler engine can recognize

Listing Out keywords and their relevant phrases relevant to your business.
Do visit https://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ site for keyword and phrase search its very useful...
Its always beneficial to find correct word for strong SEO.
For Ex: I am logistics service provider in Mumbai,I am carrying out my business within the city. For me "Logistic Service Provider" is not the crucial phrase rather "Logistic Service Provider in Mumbai". There are different ways to define phrases for the business a SEO provider or business owner should understand while doing Search Engine Optimization what phrase or word is more compatible for business

Make it more attractive so it should look authentic and relevant content or product presentation are some of the key areas.


SEO's Rule No.9 :


Inbound and Out bound links

More the inbound link from relevant sites more the number more you get priority from the engine....
For that visit numerous forums and blogs add your comments put forward you thoughts and make sure that people will refer your site forward the link to your site... but be sure it should be from site with relevant content..
for outbound link you can use vice a versa strategy to built the links


SEO's Rule No.10 :


URL for each sub domain and pages


Links inside pages especially navigation links and internal subdomains of the website should be with the relevant names...


SEO's Rule No.11 :



RSS Feeds


Main aim of RSS feed is to make use more accessible to website content make it more easier to remain updated with websites content. More the number of users subscribed to your website more search engine will give preference to your website and more the robust SEO of the website...
One thing to remeberdont use javascript for creating RSS feeds search engine doesn't recognize it and your SEO implementation go fail.
Try to embed the text inside the website to gain advantage through SEO.

Blogs

Writing a blog always helps you to increase the number of users to the website liking it to website will certainly increase the size of the content. Helps you to become more interactive and communicative with large user base.
Helping customer to get more insight into your product and services.
It is said that it is the utmost of importance to get advantage over your competitor which is fighting for similar space in while implementing SEO.

But there is some important things has to be keep in mind while registering, please don't keep incomplete information. Other than mandatory things there are few other things needs to keep in mind is uploading photograph of your business premises, connecting it with YouTube. It is always better to have relevant videos of business on the YouTube. Your SEO gets advantage from both ways through popularity through YouTube and Recognition through Google Map and its Google Engine.Everything is interrelated in the world of Google.

Though it is still in nascent stages a correct time to exploit the opportunity it will certainly going to help in longer term..

It is a free tool provided by Google to website owner's to track their respective sites performance in terms of total visits,bounce rate(no.s of visitors return from first page),geography wise summary, daily/weekly/monthly wise report etc.



SEO's Rule No.18:


PPC


Though the PPC and SEO two ends of google engine but it is necessary to explain.
It is paid service offered by Google where they will charge according to the number of clicks on the links posted by business owner.It is configurable according geographical region, Google query etc.This can help you generating 'n' numbers of hits depending on your budget. The only constraint is that it doesn't guarantee about conversion of the lead.
There should be proper measure should be taken before opting for this service.
Company should be ready with all of their armory to deliver else you will keep on losing the money.
